This is the Remodelled Uyo Sports Stadium constructed by Governor Udom Emmanuel. The multi-use stadium would be the third Grade A Stadium in Akwa Ibom, a state that has been known for its prowess in building sporting facilities.
The Uyo Township Stadium would add to the already existing standard stadiums; The Godswill Akpabio Stadium and the Eket Stadium, that strut the Akwa Ibom Sports skyline.
