This is the healthcare facility rehabilitated by Governor Udom Emmanuel. St Luke’s Hospital, Anua, a healthcare facility which has existed for over Seven decades has been witnessing a total decay in it structures and medical equipment and is over populated. After Governor Udom Emmanuel inspected the state of the facilities in the Hospital, he contracted OLKEM Nigeria Ltd. to start reconstruction of the hospital beginning with the Administration Block, Male/Children wards and also to construct a fresh storey building to accommodate twenty consulting and 150 bed-space rooms to ease the problem of over-population.

On completion, the new building will also end incidences of rejecting patients due to lack of consulting rooms for doctors and lack of bed to accept the patients. In less than three months of work, the one storey building is at roofing stage while the administrative block and Male/children Ward block have both witnessed total modernization. The windows that were louver-glass have been changed to the modern stylish Aluminium fittings with beautiful reflective glasses.
