The 13.1km stretch of road from Anua Mbak in Uyo to Adidia in Uruan local local area was constructed and commisioned by Governor Udom Emmanuel. The road is the main link way between the ancient Ishiet Market in Uruan and the rest of the State. This means that traders now have unfettered access to the weekly Monday market where varieties of seafoods, harvested from the rich aquatic habitat of Uruan river, are brought.
Phase Two of the project has Adiadia to Ishiet beach, the total embankment of the beach, construction of the lorry park, the other spurs are Ekpene Ibia Community road, Ifa Atai Mbak-Idu Road and Ikot Otonye Road. The total lengths of the entire projects is 22.6km.
